Q: The Kia Koup evokes obvious comparisons with the Honda Civic - but how does it compare with its own older brother, the Kia Optima? Their price points are very, very close indeed.
A: Optima is bigger, heavier, comes only as a four-door sedan; no coupe (Koup) version available. But it has an optional V-6. Except for the base Optima with 4 cyl and manual trans, Optima pricing seems notably higher than Forte/Koup (couple thou' or more higher).
