A: My choice would be the BMW 335d (diesel). Best diesel, by quite a margin, I've ever driven. Uses two small turbos so they spool up immediately and eliminate turbo lag. But, if awd is important, I'd lean toward the Audi for its quattrro awd, classy looks inside and out, and crisp behavior. Not quite willing to say I'd recommend those; more like personal preferences than professional recommendations. In that category, you probably ought to buy according to chemistry.
