Expands its Reach to 20 US Markets  Moolala - Promoting Deals that Pay You Singapore gets Secondary Marketplace for Daily Deals Vouchers Scoopon Threatens Two Work at Home Moms for using "Scoop" in Domain Name Dealised Raises $5.3 Million and Appoints New CEO Groupon Singapore CEO Threatens Daily Deal Aggregator Daily Deal Media received an email from Dealshelve, the Malaysian based daily deals aggregator, this morning to let us know they are being threatened by Karl Chong, CEO of Groupon Singapore (AKA Be economic Singapore) telling them they have to remove all Groupon deals from their site or face legal action.   I have to wonder if Mr. Chong realizes that the Groupon deals listed on Dealshelve link to the deals on his site, thereby sending Groupon Singapore customers that might not have otherwise bothered to access Groupon.   To date, as far as I know, Groupon has been tolerant of aggregator sites, so if this is going to be a company-wide policy that will be working its way around the globe or if this is something that Mr. Chong has taken upon himself, possibly without the knowledge of Groupon headquarters, is unclear. The site will be setting up sales offices in each city to work closely with merchants.   Dealised Raises $5.3 Million and Appoints New CEO Dealised, a Singapore company that provides third party group buying solutions, has reportedly raised $5.3 million (US) in Series A funding. The round was led by SingTel Innov8, Australian VC firm Yuuwa Capital along with Pollenizer, and a number of angel investors. The company also appointed former chief operating officer of Virgin Mobile US, Jonathan Marchbank, as CEO.
