Always put generators outside well away from doors, windows, and vents. Find out more about safety and environmentally friendly options during severe winter weather.

WHAT YOU CAN DO, WHAT YOU CAN USE

EPA's 2016 Budget. Learn how President Obama's proposed 2016 $8.6 billion budget for EPA invests in America's future and will help protect health and the environment for you and your community. The proposed budget emphasizes community protection, climate change and air quality, the nation's waters, safety at chemical plants, and more. Central to this work is support for our state, local, and tribal partners and working with them to deliver environmental and health improvements.
