New Water Tool. The Drinking Water Mapping Application to Protect Source Waters, or DWMAPS, is a new online tool that lets you learn about your watershed and understand more about the water supplier, and if there are possible sources of pollution that could affect the community water supply.

Nominations and Challenges
- Rain Catcher Nominations (due Mar 18). EPA is accepting nominations for stormwater green infrastructure projects during the past year in the Southeast US. Green infrastructure uses systems that mimic natural processes to more effectively manage urban stormwater. Nominations are due March 18.

- TRI University Challenge (due Mar 27). Every year, thousands of U.S. industrial facilities report to the EPA's Toxics Release Inventory about their management of toxic chemicals and any releases of chemicals into the environment. EPA is challenging university faculty and students to create innovative projects that improve the understanding and use of TRI data. Find out more about applications, due March 27.
