Q: I’m torn between the Acura MDX and Lexus RX350. With just these two, which would you choose and why -- I don't need the 3rd row, but like the MDX's space.
A: Very different personalities, those two. I'd bet that if you liked one, you wouldn't like the other. MDX is a very sporting machine and its awd is set up to pivot the car smartly around corners. (I got to test it on a race track; really, really works.) The RX is posher and has a less-sophisticated awd setup.
