eCycle - take your old computers or other electronics to a local recycling center. This helps keep lead, cadmium, and other substances out of the landfill. Find eCycling centers near you. November 15 is America Recycles Day.

WHAT YOU CAN DO, WHAT YOU CAN USE
Prevent Lead Poisoning! Lead causes a variety of adverse health effects, including brain and nervous system disorders, high blood pressure and hypertension, and reproductive problems. Children are especially sensitive - even low levels of exposure to lead can cause many developmental effects such as learning disabilities, decreased intelligence and speech, language, and behavioral problems.

Chesapeake Bay: Listening To You. EPA will hold listening sessions on potential provisions of the stormwater rulemaking with respect to Chesapeake Bay watershed. As part of the listening sessions, EPA will also address environmental justice considerations. Four November sessions include

-Nov 9 in Richmond VA
-Nov 16 via webcast
-Nov 17 in Harrisburg PA.

Energy Efficiency Tax Credit ends Dec 31. If you are considering purchasing an energy-efficient product or renewable energy system for your existing home and primary residence, you may be eligible for a federal tax credit.
