Groupon Middle East has been under fire recently for “poor” customer service and delivery delays of goods offered on the daily deal site.
Multiple reports of Groupon Middle East’s troubles have been floating around the web, and such reports and complaints prompted Tecom Investments (which runs Dubai Media City, the “free zone” in Dubai, in which Groupon Middle East is registered) to launch an investigation into the discount website’s business practices.
That was last week – and the results are in: Tecom has found that no further action needs to be taken, much to the chagrin of many Groupon Middle East customers, who feel slighted by delays and other customer service issues. In recent months, Groupon Middle East’s Facebook page has received a barrage of complains from unsatisfied customers.
