This week's international donors' conference for Haiti topped the agenda during talks between Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and French President Nicolas Sarkozy at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The two leaders also discussed the situation in Iran and recent developments in both Côte d'Ivoire and Chad during their meeting last night, according to information released by a spokesperson for the Secretary-General.
In addition, Mr. Ban and Mr. Sarkozy discussed reform of the Security Council, the Conference on Sustainable Development that is scheduled to be held later this year in Rio de Janeiro, and follow-up to the global climate change gathering last December in Copenhagen.
