Breaking News: Senate passes health care reconciliation bill

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Senate has passed a bill reshaping parts of the new U.S. health care overhaul law and is sending it back to the House for final congressional approval. Republicans managed to kill a minor provision on grants for low-income students that violated Congress' budget rules. So now, the House has to approve an identical bill before President Obama can sign it. House leaders predict their chamber will complete the bill by day's end.
